Apoynt LLC (“Apoynt”, “we”, “us”) is a specialist recruitment firm registered in the State of New York, placing professionals in cyber security, software, infrastructure and cloud, and technical leadership roles across the United States.
This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It applies to our website at apoynt.com and to our recruitment services.

Information we collect
If you are a candidate. Your name, email address, telephone number, location, resume or CV, employment and education history, professional qualifications and certifications, compensation expectations, work authorization status, references you choose to provide, and any notes from our conversations with you.
If you are a client or hiring contact. Your name, job title, business email address, business telephone number, employer, and records of our correspondence and the searches we run for you.
If you visit our website. Standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and pages viewed, collected through our website platform and its analytics.
We collect this information directly from you, from your public professional profiles such as LinkedIn, from referrals, and from our clients where they share candidate details with us.
How we use your information
- To identify, contact and assess candidates for specific roles.
- To present candidates to clients, with the candidate’s prior agreement in each case.
- To arrange and coordinate interviews and communicate about the status of a process.
- To discuss compensation, offers and terms on your behalf.
- To maintain our candidate and client records so we can contact you about relevant future opportunities.
- To operate, secure and improve our website.
- To meet our legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Text messaging and mobile information
Where you provide a mobile telephone number and consent to be contacted by text message, we may send you SMS messages relating to a role, an interview, or an active search. Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of being represented by us or of any purchase.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

How long we keep it
We keep candidate and client records for as long as needed to provide our services and to contact you about relevant future opportunities, and thereafter for as long as required for legal, tax and record-keeping purposes. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required to retain it.
Your choices and rights
You may at any time ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is inaccurate or out of date;
- delete your information from our records;
- stop contacting you, by any or all channels.
Email bradley@apoynt.com and we will action your request. There is no charge, and asking will never affect how we treat you.
Residents of California, and of other states with comparable privacy legislation, have specific statutory rights including the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We honor these requests from all individuals regardless of where they live.
Security
We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the site and to understand how it is used. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; some parts of the site may not function correctly if you do.
Children
Our services are directed to working professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe we have done so, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here.
